Massage Therapy Rates
Massage Therapy Rates
These rates include GST and are in accordance with the professional standards set by the Registered Massage Therapists' Association of British Columbia (RMTBC). If you are interested in viewing the set standards,

Forms of payment: cash, bank e-transfer or tap payment with
debit card (up to $100 tap limit), Visa or MasterCard (up to $250 tap limit).
Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required if you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment;
otherwise you will be charged in full for your missed appointment time.
***This fee will be waived due to illness during the Covid-19 pandemic. Please stay home if you are unwell.***
Third Party Coverage
***Please note that I do not offer direct billing to third party insurers.***
Extended Health Plans
Various extended health care plans offer coverage for treatments provided by an RMT. Many employers offer this coverage to their employees. Some examples of employers who offer this coverage include: Island Health (formerly Vancouver Island Health Authority or VIHA), Department of National Defense (DND), British Columbia Government Employees Union (BCGEU), and many local municipalities (e.g. Saanich, Oak Bay, Victoria, etc.). Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) also provides comprehensive coverage to their members. Some examples of the extended health providers are: Pacific Blue Cross, Greenshield, Manulife, Sunlife and Great West Life.
•You are required to pay my massage treatment fee in full on the date of the treatment.
Once payment is received, you will be given a treatment receipt which can be submitted to your individual
extended health care provider and they will reimburse you for your out-of-pocket expense.
•Some extended health benefit providers require a medical doctor's referral for massage therapy prior to
submitting your receipts for reimbursement.
•Please check with your individual provider, as the amount of coverage
(e.g. number of treatments, percentage of fee covered and/or annual dollar amount) varies greatly between individual plans and providers.
•Most providers are now accepting online claims for faster reimbursement (typically within 3-5 business days);
check with your provider to see if they offer this option.
Medical Services Plan (MSP)
***Please note that I do not bill MSP of BC directly.***
MSP may cover a portion of the cost of your massage therapy treatment (for up to 10 treatments per year, in combination with acupuncture, chiropractic, podiatry and/or physiotherapy). You are responsible for my treatment fee in full on your treatment date; however, you may claim your treatment with MSP for partial reimbursement of the treatment fee.
*Only premium assistance (low income) patients are eligible for this benefit.*
Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC)
***Please note that I do not bill ICBC directly. ***
If you have been in a motor vehicle incident, ICBC may cover a portion of your massage therapy treatment fee with a doctor's referral. You are responsible for paying my full treatment fee upfront. You will be given a treatment receipt, which you must submit to your ICBC case manager for reimbursement.
WorkSafe BC (formerly WCB)
***Please note that I do not bill Worksafe BC directly.***
If you have experienced a work place injury, Worksafe BC will accept RMT treatments as part of their medical treatment coverage. As a patient on an open claim, you will be responsible for paying my treatment fee in full. I will provide you with a treatment receipt that you can submit to Worksafe BC for reimbursement.

as full coverage is generally not provided.*
